October 2012 ● Welcome to High Season in Puerto Vallarta as the Seasonal Regulars Return

By Stan Gabruk • Master Baiter’s Sportfishing and tackle • October, 2012

October first marks the beginning of High Season for all of Puerto Vallarta as the cruise ships and the tourist return in droves. Now we all know October is still a scorcher when considering the weather here in PV. Canadians tired of the early cold, Americans looking to get away on the cheap, and fishermen looking to boat a world record gamefish are all of the same mind. It’s time to Party in PV!

Fisning Report

Fishing in Puerto Vallarta

With Cruise ships returning to Vallarta, there are people walking all over El Centro. With people in the restaurants, in the shops and on the water PV has come back to life. October is also known as the best month of the year to go fishing for those looking for world class Black Marlin over 700 lbs. Yellowfin Tuna over 200 lbs, Sailfish, Dorado and the list goes on. With the crowds down the fishing grounds are what you would expect in the uncrowded 50’s, not in 2012.

For the first time visitor, enjoy the early season. Puerto Vallarta welcomes you with open arms, friendly people, World class art, world renound cuisine, and of course fishing. It’s no wonder Puerto Vallarta  had a record season last year and we’re looking forward to once again welcoming new and previous visitors tour little corner of Paradise. See why Puerto Vallarta is becoming one of the most popular travel destinations in the world and now you have the chance to experience my favorite corner of the world!
