Happy New Year and welcome to the beginning of another High Season with a eye to the future while tourism continues to grow as we experience the perfect weather Puerto Vallarta has in January. As the extreme temperatures of the frozen north continue we see a major influx of visitors looking for the fun, the sun and adventure. Puerto Vallarta is alive and the season is just beginning.
When we discuss fishing, it signals the beginning of winter species fishing. Jack Crevalls have found their way back to our golden shores and will be with us for the majority of the winter as a primary player when it comes to Sportfishing. Soon the Yellowfin Tuna, Black and Blue Marlin will have left for waters further south along with the Dorado.
As we transition from species the size of your car, light tackle enthusiast will be moving in at the Marietta Island, El Morro and the points north of Punta Mita for Rooster fish, Arctic Bonito, Snappers and a host of other desirable game fish.

The Marietta Islands are alive with our winter season friends, I am referring of course to the Whales that will be with us until March. For those looking to have a natural adventure in our Bay of Banderas all you have to do is find Vallarta Adventures and trust you´ll be safe with a smile on your face.
As we welcome high season, enjoy the variety of entertainment available in our fair city. Art Walks on Wednesday nights in El Centro, Acrobats, music in the square. Explore Down town and Remember Marina Vallarta, Puerto Vallarta’s other Malicon. Yachts, The Light House Bar, fifteen restaurants and services. Don´t Miss it!
