Fishing in Puerto Vallarta

Fishing in Puerto Vallarta

December is like a magic month for us here in Puerto Vallarta. With some of the heaviest tourism Puerto Vallarta will see for the entire year of 2012 and with the holidays coming on soon it will party time in PV once again.

When we discuss what we should expect for fishing at this time of the year, you should have high expectations as we still have some of the best fishing in Puerto Vallarta will have to offer this whole year right now. It´s a rare time when the air temperatures and fishing conditions are in perfect balance. No more humid days with temperatures that will melt the average person.

As we enter December, it marks the beginning of the Whale watching season here in Banderas Bay. Arriving daily, the whales return to have their young as others are in the mood for romance. As the male whales jump to exhibit their worthiness to the ladies, they are nothing short of spectacular. Whale watching tours can be found all over the city and in all price ranges so there is no reason to  miss this spectacle of nature. So keep your camera at the ready!

As we look at the fishing, November through New Years is considered the absolute best time frame to catch a world class game fish here in Puerto Vallarta´s world class fishing grounds.  With Dorado, Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Marlin and now Whales you can enjoy day fishing and most definitely will cross paths with happy Whales making your day on the water twice the value and twice the excitement. Welcome to December in Puerto Vallarta, it´s a vacation paradise that is calling your name. Enjoy and welcome to the best Puerto Vallarta has to offer!
