New San Pancho Theater
“Judy…here at last! ” is a one-woman show about the legendary Judy Garland. This intimate play may be shocking, yet funny and sometimes sad. C&D Productions (Bucerias-based artists) bring live theater to our community as a benefit for San Pancho’s newest cultural project – La Bodega Teatro San Pancho, a community based Performance Arts Center which offers a venue for presenting and producing theater, concerts, performances as well as a laboratory for teaching, learning and sharing across cultures and generations.
On JANUARY 18th, you are invited to contribute in the creation of this special and important new community arts space not only in San Pancho but for all of Bahia de Banderas.
TICKETS ARE STILL AVAILABLE. Tickets must be reserved and paid for in advance. You can contribute in two ways: General Seating @ 250 pesos, Premium Seating for our Business and Individual Sponsors @ 500 pesos. All tickets include a courtesy wine/beverage, pre-show reception and the performance. Premium Tickets guarantee seating in the first two rows. RECENT ACTIVITIES OF LA BODEGA TEATRO
Thank you to many volunteers, the patio of La Bodega Teatro was transformed into an open-air performance venue for the presentation of “Con todo el Gozo” a performance created by experienced and budding theater artists as part of the San Pancho Arts Festival in December. This free family event was loads of fun – filled with surprises, a bit of capoeira, drama and comedy. Music by Daniel (Los Frixoleros) made especially entertaining for the kids and the young at heart!
