Entreamigos is so busy these days! The second block of children workshops started this Monday January 14th and there are so many cool things happening in the building that we don´t really know where to start in describing them all…
We are preparing for our 5th annual Children’s Art fundraiser, organizing incredible tours hosting interesting cultural events and continuing to recycle, recycle and keep this town clean. But the most important work that we are doing is happening in the library and in the myriad of classes being attended by more than 100 local kids every day of the week. We have computer and english lessons, belly dancing, jiu-jitsu, art and horseback riding, reading circles and of course one of the children favorites: the circus workshops. The kids are learning so much and having so much fun while they do it!
If you are in San Pancho, come see our bodega, it is a magical place, full of hope and laughter. We are located in Ave. Tercer Mundo #12 and are open Monday through Friday from 10 to 6 and Saturdays from 10 to 2. Guided tours can be scheduled please ask at the front desk.
See you soon!
Volunteers are needed for the following; Twice a week to drive students to their horse class (in town at the new polo field), in the gallery and recicla shop reception desks, as art teachers and as technology tutors.
We are soliciting donation of household items to be painted and repurposed for our 5th annual Fundraiser. We need your lamps, chairs, couches, frames, vases etc. Please drop them by Recicla Shop and let them know that it is for the fundraiser.
