February 2014 ● Two Events at Escuela del Mundo – San Pancho is a place with many opportunities for young children and families – especially opportunities for education and building skills. In our town, you’ll find public schools from kindergarten through middle school, an amazing community center for after school programs but, also for the past 8 years, a small cooperative parent-run school has been a second home to many families. December 2013 ● A Lifetime Experience – Today I witnessed a very magical, once in a lifetime experience. I was walking along the totally deserted north end of the beach in San Pancho around 2pm and was suddenly aware of a noise. As I turned to look back I realized that I had just walked past a nesting Ridley Sea Turtle. She seemed huge! Read more

December 2013 ● New Organic Farm ib San Pancho – As you all know, the jungle girl loves her greens and veggies. With this in mind, I’m thrilled to introduce you to Britta Jankay and her new organic farm in San Pancho, “Ranchito Del Mar”. When I visited Britta’s fantastic ranchito last week I felt like a kid in a candy store! The garden is heaven (see photos attached). August 2013 ● San Pancho Surfing – We heard there was a surfing competition happening in San Francisco, or San Pancho, on August 3-4. We waited until Sunday morning to go with our pack of dogs… three to be exact. It was a beautiful day, there was sun but also a breeze, and we knew that the surfing would be fun to watch… and the dogs would be able to have some running time on the beach. That is, of course, until you seat me in a sea kayak and give me a push out into the big blue ocean. There’s just something about the rhythm of paddling and the novelty of viewing the coastline from an offshore perspective that quiets my mind and heightens my awareness of natural beauty-the sound of the waves. December 2012 ● Whale Watching Season Start December 3rd – Riviera Nayarit attracts hundreds of Humpback Whales along the entire coast of Mexico’s Pacific Treasure every year, including Jaltemba Bay.
